What has the world come to?

The Cardinals are 2 innings away from being swept by the Red Sox, and Scott Stapp is massacring "God Bless America." Please kill me.

What a boring World Series.

You can thank Scott Stapp for that.

Oh, Dan. I'm watching Sportscenter, and Chris “Boomer” Berman just said, "A run to remember by the Red Sox, who did it with power, who did it with pitching, and who did it with MOXIE!!!!!!" Is it possible that your new arthouse theater in Missouri has enabled the Red Sox to beat your Cardinals??????????

Since I had no real affiliation with either team (after all, the Cards are Pirates rivals, and the Sox are AL...what did I care?), it was so much easier to watch the World Series. Of course, I've gotten used to that over the last couple of decades; as long as it's not NY or Atlanta, I can root for anyone.
So...sorry St.L. lost, but I gotta be happy for my friends in Boston.
And yes, Stapp was Awful.

It's a sad, sad day here in St. Louis, the nation's 2nd most dangerous place to live .

I thought it was now the FIRST most dangerous place to live?

Really? If so, it's a REALLY, REALLY sad day in St. Louis, the world's deadliest town.

"St Louis - the world's deadliest town!" that ought to be on the brochure.

I'll submit it to the visitor's bureau.

Tony La Russa choking back tears last night nearly broke my heart. But consdering how many times my heart has been broken by the Red Sox, and how brutally, I'll allow it. For the first time since Woodrow Wilson was President, Sox fans will smile in November. We needed this in a way it's hard to put into words strongly enough.
But hats off to St. Louis. A classy team I respect completely.

Dan, thanks for the kind words. The Sox deserve every bit of happiness they have coming... the Cards totally sucked it up in a major way. Curses!
