The Ultimate Guide to a Moving Moxie
Written by Dan
If you haven't seen the front page or the calendar lately, you're missing out on some really awesome, quickly-designed, poorly-colored ads I made for two new pages on The Moxie site: one for our move and one for our fundraiser. Make sure to check out our fourth and final installment in the "Moxie is moving" educational short film series (it's on the moving page). We haven't even premiered it at the theater yet, so consider it a SNEAK PEAK!!!!!!
In other news, we've nailed down our closing and reopening dates. Our last day at the original Moxie will be September 2nd, and our grand opening at the new space will be September 19th. That means we have exactly two weeks and two days to get everything set up, tested, and running smoothly before we open the doors to the public. It's going to be hectic, but I think we can pull it off.
Also, as a head's up, there's a very good chance that whoever rents out our old space will tear down the auditorium walls, which means once the original Moxie is gone... it will really be gone for good. That's a little heartbreaking, to tell you the truth, but it also takes some weight off my shoulders, knowing that no one can move back in and start up their own theater without going through the same hellish start-up that we did. Either way, if you want to see the ol' Mox one last time, you only have 29 days left.
Wah waaaaah.

Debbie Downer, ladies and gentleman.
In all seriousness, we have a great August lined up for you, so make plans to drop in one (or several) last time(s) to sit in the stinky little auditorium that started it all. I have to go now... my eyeballs are starting to sweat!
