Our lovely neighbor

Written by Dan

I try not to talk much about my life outside of the theater on this blog, but this is too good to pass up. Do you remember the little "side note" in the mid-July update about my neighbor who is currently being investigated by the feds? Well, here's a nice little article about her from the office of Missouri's Secretary of State. Pretty cool, eh?

We ran into her yesterday as we were coming home from work. Nicole said "hello" out of rote politeness, and our neighbor rolled her eyes. She's a real winner.

Didn't she steal your iPod?

Dan says:

Yep. It was Nicole's iPod actually... our neighbor returned it right before I called the cops. I should've called anyways.

Maybe she could help out with your fundraising?

Dan says:

Right. I have a feeling she's already sniffed the majority of the money up her nose... or injected it between her toes.

Tim says:

Really? But how could she...

...ooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

Seriously though, you should ask if she wants to invest in the Moxie, just to watch her go ballistic.

Amy says:

Where does a swindler get off rolling her eyes at an honest, hard-working person trying to get there dream business up and running? Maybe next time Nicole should ask her if she's talked to the feds lately or if she's going to be roommates with Martha Stewart or "How's that scam paying off for you?" Something like that.

Amy says:

Oops. In my previous post I used "there" when I should have used "their". I sincerely apologize.

I daydream about saying lots of mean things to her, none of which are suitable for this blog lest I incur a sudden influx of traffic for the search terms "filthy whore", "nickel", and "zipper".

Dan says:

Amy, you should be ashamed of yourself.
