The Chair Up There

Written by Dan

In a stunning and well-choreographed, early morning mission, my dad and uncles swooped in and fixed all the broken chairs in the auditorium. We once again have 75 comfortable vintage chairs. However, the process they used to fix the chairs can't be done more than once or twice, so as the chairs continue to break down, which they will, it will eventually get to a point where they'll need to be replaced... but let's not dwell on the negative. For now, we have a comfortable auditorium with 75 great little chairs.

So next time you sit in a comfortable chair, whether it be here or somewhere else, say a silent thanks to my dad, and uncles Larry and Sonny. Woo hoo!

I was very comfortable during District B-13 tonight, as were the two old high school buddies who enjoyed their first-ever Moxie experience in chairs with live leprechauns. Good work Dan's dad and uncles!

Hey, I'm so glad you took care of the problematic chairs! I had a friend with hip problems who said she didn't like coming to the
Moxie, b/c the two times she had, she'd gotten one of those chairs, and it aggravated her hip. Now, she has NO excuse!
