The fall of the Avalon

EXCERPT:  The Avalon Cinema is a small, single screen theater situated about 2,000 miles to the West of us in Corvallis, Oregon (a town roughly 1/3 the size of Springfield). Like the Moxie, the Avalon is the only theater in its town to show smaller independent films, but after ten years of being in business, attendance has dropped so low that they can no longer pay their bills... and now another haven of alternative cinema is gone. Keeping busy, staying out of trouble

EXCERPT:  Hey guys. I realized today that I hadn't made a post in a while, so I thought I'd drop in and let you know that we're still here. You'd think during a month with traditionally low attendance, like June, that we'd have all sorts of free time on our hands, but that's rarely the case.
